Oh how wonderful life can be in the great USA.
Here I am in Reading Township Adams County, Pennsylvania being thankful for all I have learned and been able to do.
I took this photo about 6:30am after work at Voith Hydro. I am helping to build a turbine shaft for Ohio River Powerhouse at Cannelton. I have also been working on parts for Holtwood Dam in Pennsylvania and Wanapum in Washington State.
I have been real busy working a lot and learning about hydro power generation. I study at home my calculus and fluid flow. I plan on continuing my education until the day I die... I wonder when that will be.
Forty years ago in July of this week my life changed drastically forever. My grannie died from a stroke and I was the one that found her a day after I told her I wish she were dead! What a wild ride that turned out to be. I will never again wish for anything, My Grannie once told me to wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one got filled first. What a lesson in life I have learned, oh 40 years of worry, sadness and now the commitment to my soul and spirit and others to never be mean or nasty to anyone ever again...
